Jim Larson is an Architect, Illustrator and Designer who lives in Round Rock, Texas with his wife Jeanette, two Schipperke Boat Dogs and two neurotic cats.

Jim received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture with Distinction from the University of New Mexico. He also did post-graduate studies in Environmental Planning at California State University-Fullerton.

In 1985 Jim started Larson Studio in Garland, Texas.  Larson Studio moved in 1990 to Austin, Texas and then in 2013 it moved to Rockport.  Prior to Larson Studio; Jim was an Associate at RTKL Associates in Dallas, Texas.  He also worked for the prestigious firms of W.L. Pereira and A.C. Martin Associates in Los Angeles, California and SHW Architects in Dallas, Texas.

Jim's interests include mid-century modern design, watercolor painting, playing bass guitar and bird watching.
